Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
The military did teach me that discipline, readiness, planning, respect, and leadership are vital in any venture that is to lead to success. One must also possess compassion and empathy for others when trying to win their support. I believe that some of my successes in law enforcement and in the corporate world stemmed from a solid foundation acquired from both my upbringing and military experience. Teamwork and community service are vital to success.
