Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
Everyone gets something different from their service. For me, I learned inner discipline. I’m a bit of a “wild child” by nature, which can be fun, but not always useful in one’s career path. The US Air Force taught me how to stay focused on details, which served me well throughout my entire career. I started as a USAF Combat Cameraman in 1990 - and ended my civilian TV career in 2015 with 9 EMMY nominations, 2 EMMY wins, and one Associated Press Award. The Air Force set me up for success.
