In the military, especially during and after deployment, one deals with extreme fluctuations in emotions and motivation. Entrepreneurs experience the same, but to a much lesser extent. The military basically over-prepares you for the worst that small business can throw at you. I wake up even-tempered, knowing there is a job to be done and people to serve.
