Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I started training martial arts with my father, who had served during World War II in the USMC, and learned Aikido after the war. My own service allowed me to train with several martial artists and to broaden the depth of my own knowledge. But, it was the values of dedicating our lives to the service of others. that he instilled in me, and that were reinforced by the Marine Corps that led me to my business, which I operate for profit, but also to improve my community in a small way.
