VETERANS IN TRANSITION Inc., in conjunction with the National Association for Black Veterans Inc. (NABVETS), offers a range of programs and services to its clients, including:

1. A nationally certified Veterans Service Organization and United States Department of Veterans Affairs claim representative for the purpose of benefits counseling services.

2. Working with the community to end veteran homelessness and to empower low-income veterans.

3. Calling attention to the needs of homeless and economically disadvantaged veterans.

4. Developing affordable permanent housing for all low-income and homeless veterans.

5. Providing incarcerated veterans services.

6. Providing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Agent Orange and behavioral health counseling.

7. Provide transitional housing support for homeless veterans and those veterans at imminent risk of homelessness, as well as substance abuse, mental, and health services in coordination with the Louisville VA Medical Center and existing community resources.
